Yes! Crafts & Companions has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the IRS and is currently pending approval. Once approved, donations will be retroactively tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law from the date of our application.

Your donation depends on which fund you chose to donate to:
Art Supply Fund
Donations to this fund go straight into the hands of participants, providing the art supplies that make creativity, connection, and self-expression possible.
General Fund
Gifts to our general fund allow Crafts & Companions to grow and sustain our programs, covering everything from organizing workshops and reaching new communities to supporting volunteers and program needs. -

We gratefully accept in-kind donations, including new or gently used art supplies to support our programs. We especially welcome items that are easy to use and accessible for older adults, such as:
Large-handled or easy-grip paintbrushes
Acrylic paints (non-toxic, easy-open bottles preferred)
Pre-stretched canvases or canvas boards
Sketchbooks or paper pads (larger sizes)
Washable markers and colored pencils
Safety scissors
Simple, beginner-friendly craft kits
Please note: We are unable to accept dried or heavily used supplies, broken or incomplete items, sharp tools, or materials that may be difficult to use safely in a group setting.
